Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum is a former Nazi German concentration camp in Oświęcim. It was the place where over 1,1 million people were killed during the Second World War. Auschwitz Birkenau exists as a symbol of genocide, savagery and Holocaust in the common consciousness.
Auschwitz Birkenau Museum is located in Oświęcim, a town in the South of Poland. Each year, more than one milion tourists visit Auschwitz and Birkenau – the second part of the museum.
